I hate getting my teeth brushed, even though my slaves have brushed them since I was a puppy. But I like dog dental wipes! Just like our humans, doggies need good dental care otherwise we get smelly breath, lost teeth, and other terrible things like diabetes. That means your dog will benefit from clean teeth and healthy gums, too.
Most of my brothers and sisters get used to having their teeth brushed especially if their slaves started when they were young. Some are fine with a dog toothbrush in their mouth but many, like me, hate them.
An alternative is to use a dog dental wipe. It definitely causes me and my humans less stress.

Dental wipes for dogs are similar to dental wipes for toddlers. Basically, some doggies (and children) are sensitive to have objects in their mouths. Dental wipes are soft and disposable, and they clean a dog’s teeth and gums gently because of the texture. Did I mention that they make a dog’s breath smell good?
The AKC says that you don’t have to brush your dog’s teeth everyday, and neither do you need to wipe off a dog’s teeth everyday. Paired with dental treat and dog chews, dental wipes can effectively replace brushing.
Once your dog gets used to having his or her teeth “brushed” with dental wipes, you can switch over to a toothbrush and dog toothpaste. But I prefer my dental wipes over the toothbrush and toothpaste! However, that means that my human must put fingers inside of my mouth, and sometimes, I accidentally bite. I can’t help it.
Also, I once accidentally swallowed a dental wipe. But I was not harmed in any way.
The next issue is that the dental wipes sometimes cannot get into all the nooks and crannies that a dog toothbrush can. That’s why I get switched up to using an electric dog toothbrush.

This brand is specially designed with antimicrobial properties to help tooth and gum disease in your pet. A good alternative if your animal is allergic to the other brands.
